Tips for Customizing Your Business Card Case

1. Selecting your favorite case:

Choose from our popular, best selling business card cases for men & women. Don't worry about what finish the case is (whether it's gold or silver) or what color is behind the center design - all that can be changed. Look for the design that you like best, and click the "Choose Options" to start customizing it.

2. Choosing case and design finish:

Kyle's top business card cases come in gold or silver finishes. Both the center design and the case will either be gold or silver. The silver is the most popular. The silver center design itself will have the black, etched metal markings that make the design more prominent, while the gold designs have gold toned etchings.

3. Choosing your accent color:

The accent color is what is placed underneath the design. The 1st row and majority of the 2nd row of color choices (black through silver) are aluminum colors which are solid hues. The remaining iridescent colors are more shimmery and many have 2 colors within them - for example rainforest has a lot of blue and green.

Tip: Aluminum colors are best for men. Iridescent colors are best for women.

4. Choosing case depth:

The deep case is recommended because it holds double the amount of business cards as the thin case. It's also popular because the added depth allows space for credit cards, a driver's license and some folded up money, making it more versatile.

5. Choosing an engraving location:

The most popular engraving locations are below the design if engraving 1 line and both above and below the design when adding 2 lines. The plate inside the lid will take up some space and is only recomended for our black business card cases.

6. Selecting an engraving font:

The first font - Roman - is the most popular and is always recommended for men. Script and Victoria are popular on gifts for women as they offer a scrolly, more feminine touch. Victoria is easier to read than Script and Script is never recommended when engraving all capital letters.

7. How to engrave your case:

For someone's initials, put a period between the capital letters with no spacing. Example: K.S.M.

For someone's first name only, do all capital letters. Example: KYLE (For names done in all caps, we don't recommend the Script Font).

For someone's first and last name, capitalize the first letters only. Example: Kyle Mansfield

For a monogram, remember that the middle initial is for the last name. So for Kyle S. Mansfield the proper monogram would be KMS

For dates, use a slash between the numbers. Example: 12/13/14
