How did you create your unique Diamond Gemstone design?
Kyle responds: "I love the precise angles in a cut diamond and wanted to capture those interesting triangles in the etched metal. This round brilliant diamond pattern is an Old European cut that was developed in Venice, Italy in the 1600's. The highlights and swooping lines are meant to evoke the sparkles created with movement. To me, it is a symbol of beauty and purity, and of wealth and highly skilled artisans. I also took gemology classes at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco, CA, and was fascinated by the diamond's properties of hardness and clarity."
