Engravable Metal Checkbook Cover

Really like the appearance of the cover. I would suggest a slight alteration of the system that holds the checks and ledger in place. It would better to have a single metal fold to hold things in place - like a money clip. The current system is hard to slide paper into and the pieces on the sides tend to bend which loosens the hold on the checks and the register. Thanks.

I had a metal checkbook cover for over twenty years. I needed to replace it because the inside plastic that held the checks and register in place had torn and couldn't be repaired. The metal cover was deep enough and hinged for a pen to be secured inside. That's the only problem I have with yours. When I carry my checkbook now, I have to attach a pen to the outside of the cover, and I worry that I'll scratch the finish.
