What is Kyle's Design Story Behind the Mission Period Motif?
"Mission Style artwork appeals to me because it represents a belief in the virtues of good craftsmanship and design. Mission decor is not overly ornate; it was mainly influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement and draws many of its themes from Mexican and Native American culture. When I created my version of a Mission-inspired design I aimed for simple and classic yet still visually interesting with an increasingly tight series of squares toward the center that draw in the eye and give the design depth." --Kyle
